Week 10

Region 1:  RB Mitchell Rucker, Weatherford; 158 rushing, 47 passing, 3 TD in a 35-14 win over Granbury.  The win sealed Weatherford's playoff spot.

Region 2:  QB Matt Brown (So.), Allen; 13-20, 281 yds passing, 19 car 159 yds rushing.  Brown accounted for 7 TDs total (4 passing , 3 rushing).  Allen finished as undefeated district champs.

Region 3:  QB Jerrod Doucet, Baytown Sterling (Sr.); 19-29 173 yds, 3 TDs passing and 23 car 138 yds, 3 TDs rushing in a 52-49 overtime win.

Region 4:  RB Marcus Wright, SA Reagan (Sr.); Wright broke the San Antonio single season rushing yardage total, set by Jerrell Wilkerson three years ago, with 221 yards rushing and 3 TDs against Judson.

Week 9

Region 1:  RB Eric Stephens (Jr.), Mansfield Timberview, 21 carries for 346 yards and 5 TDs in 41-23 win over Burleson.  The win bolstered Timberview’s positioning in the playoff race.

Region 2:  RB Ryan Nunn (Sr.), Stony Point, 28 carries for 280 yards and 5 TDs in a big 48-38 win over Georgetown.  Stony Point kept their place atop 14-5A with this win.

Region 3:  DB Trent Hunter (Sr.), Katy; 2 INTs, a rushing TD and a blocked extra point (which he also recovered) in the Tigers’ 45-6 win over Alief Elsik.

Region 4:  RB Tyrea Brown, Wagner; 18 carries for 161 yards and 3 TDs in Wagner’s 47-28 win over Macarthur in 26-5A play.

Week 8

Region 1:  QB Brandon Colquitt, Flower Mound (Jr.); 18-24 for 322 passing yards and 4 TDs in Flower Mound's 28-21 win over Creekview.  The win puts Flower Mound in position to earn a playoff spot.

Region 2:  QB Jerod Monk, Wylie (Sr.); Monk launched an aerial barrage against Plano East going 25-33 for 340 yards and 4 TDs in a huge win for Wylie's playoff hopes.

Region 3:  RB Yobes Walker, Brazoswood (Sr.); Walker led the Bucs past Galveston Ball with 33 carries, 235 rushing yards and 3 TDs.  Walker accounted for all of the Bucs' scoring.  The Bucs are in prime position to be the top Division 2 seed from 24-5A.

Region 4:  QB Geoffrey Myles, SA Stevens (Jr.); Myles led Stevens to a huge win for the brand new program over Marshall.  Myles did his damage on the ground, running for 230 yards on 22 carries and the decisive TD.

Week 7

Region 1:  QB Crawford Jones, Keller (Sr.); 20-28, 253 passing yds and 4 TDs. Jones directed Keller's dramatic 4th quarter comeback in a key district game against Richland.  Keller scored 20 unanswered points in the final six minutes to win the game 27-24.

Region 2:  RB Josh Johnson, Richardson Berkner (Sr.); 33 carries for 194 yards and 3 TDs.  Johnson led the Ram ground attack in Berkner's big win over Plano East.

Region 3:  RB Shane Turner, Cy Falls (Sr.); Turner racked up nearly 200 rushing yards and 100 more on a kickoff return  for a touchdown in the Eagles' win over Cy Fair.

Region 4:  RB Marcus Wright, SA Reagan (Sr.); 17 carries for 323 yards and 5 touchdowns.  Wright ran wild in the Rattlers' 65-35 win over Lee.  Wright helped break open a tie game at the half.

Week 6

Region 1:  QB Tanner Marsh, Lewisville Hebron (Sr.); Marsh passed for 310 yards on 26-31 accuracy and 2 TDs in Hebron's 2 TD win over Lewisville.

Region 2:  QB Tyler Eckenrode, The Woodlands (Sr.); Eckenrode's efficiency through the air helped the Highlanders earn a district win against Klein Collins.  Eckenrode went 17-23 for 261 yards, 3 TDs and no INTs.

Region 3:  RB Sam McGuffie, Cy Fair (Sr.); McGuffie's wasted no time regaining top form.  He ran for 262 yards on 32 carries for 4 TDs in the Bobcats' 28-21 win over Langham Creek.

Region 4:  RB Stephen Salinas, SA Southwest (Jr.); Salinas led Southwest in their 41-21 win over Victoria Memorial.  Salinas ran for 244 yards on 30 carries for all six Dragon scores.

Week 5

Region 1: RB Stephen Collins, Richland (Jr.) ; Collins ran for 207 yards and 4 TDs in Richland's 34-20 win over Haltom.

Region 2: RB Jeremiah Williams, Allen (Jr.); Williams helped lead Allen past Richardson Berkner in a 56-49 OT thriller with 277 yards on 14 carries and 3 TDs.

Region 3: QB Russell Shepard, Cy Ridge (Jr.); Ridge earned a key win over district foes Cy Falls and received a boost from Shepard in the running game. Shepard racked up 329 rushing yards on 20 carries and 5 TDs in Ridge's 51-35 win.

Region 4: RB Devin Thomas, San Antonio Madison (Sr.); Thomas was brilliant yet again versus Reagan rushing for 335 yards on 30 carries for 3 TDs.

Week 4

Region 1: WR Darrin Moore, Irving Macarthur (Sr.); 9 catches for 180 yards and 4 TDs in the Cards’ big district win over

Region 2: AP Blake Gideon, Leander (Sr.); rushing TD, INT, blocked PAT and forced fumble in one point win for Leander.  Gideon contributed in just about every way possible.

Region 3: QB Kolby Gray, Cy Falls (Jr.); 23-28 for 423 passing yards and 5 TDs (3 pass, 2 rush) in the Golden Eagles’ district win over Cy Creek.

RB Jeremy Hills, Alief Elsik (Sr.); 29 carries for 257 yards and 5 TDs in Elsik’s 35-28 win over rival Hastings.

Region 4: RB Devin Thomas, San Antonio Madison (Sr.); 37 carries for 374 yards and 3 TDs in the Mavs big road win at Smithson Valley.

Week 3

Region 1:  QB Riley Dodge, Southlake Carroll (Sr.); 428 total yards (387 passing) on 27-34 accuracy and 7 passing TDs in the Dragons' 49-42 win at Rockwall on four days rest.

Region 2:  QB Riko Smalls, Plano East (Sr.); 373 total yards (297 passing).  14-24 passing accuracy.  Smalls accounted for 7 TDs in East's 52-24 win over John Tyler.

Region 3:  RB Travis Carter, Deer Park; 29 carries for 236 yards and 4 touchdowns in the Deer win over Clear Creek, 49-35.

Region 4:  QB Bruno Reno, SA O'Connor (Sr.); 25-32 for 329 passing yards and 5 TDs in the Panthers' 42-27 win against Taft.

Week 2

Region 1: QB Donavan Roberts, Mansfield; 413 total yards, 5 TDs. Roberts accounted for five scores in Mansfield's win over Carrollton Creekview.

Region 2:  DE Jackson Jeffcoat, Plano West (So.); Jeffcoat led the West defense with a remarkable five sacks.

Region 3:  RB Wesley Cobb, Cy Fair (Sr.); Cobb's tough running ensured a Bobcat victory over a talented Alief Taylor team.  Cobb ran for 196 yards on 31 carries and scored 2 TDs.

Region 4:  RB Brandon Armstrong, San Antonio Roosevelt (So.); Armstrong ran for an amazing 358 yards on 36 carries and scored 3 TDs in the Riders' district win over Lee.
 

Week 1

Region 1: James Hamilton, QB, Cedar Hill (Sr.); 315 all-purpose yards and 4 TDs in the Longhorns' 38-31 win over Hebron.

Jamal Nero, RB, Arlington (Jr.); 30 carries for 310 rush yards and 3 TDs. School record yardage in Colts' 51-41 thriller against Mesquite Horn.

Region 2:  Nick Florence, QB, South Garland (Sr.); 308 passing yards and 4 TDs in SG's 28-21 win.

Region 3:  Shane Turner, RB, Cy Falls (Sr.); 246 all-purpose yards, 3 TDs. The Golden Eagles beat nemesis Westfield 47-45.

Region 4:  Devin Thomas, SA Madison (Sr.); 235 rushing yards and 4 TDs in Madison's big win over O'Connor.
